This is an officially licensed model kit from Kotobukiya's Megalomaria Unlimited Universe series. Zirconia is manufactured by Kotobukiya under official license and represents the series' first male-body style character with a bare face, designed by Kodama.
The model kit measures 18 cm in height. The kit includes factory-designed parts pre-molded in eight colors: off-white, white, light gray, gray, stone gray, black, and clear black. Product code: KTOCX018. Barcode: 4934054062034.
Zirconia features 54 points of articulation throughout the body. The knee joint incorporates new shin articulation with a single-layer joint system that can bend inward sufficiently to allow seiza sitting poses with legs folded underneath. New toe articulation enables more aggressive action poses. The knee armor moves independently and can be adjusted to the desired position.
The shoulder assembly is composed of multiple articulation points and can be pulled forward to recreate crossed arms poses. The three-point wrist joints are designed to bend inwards almost 180 degrees, allowing the hard point to be brought forward. Zirconia features larger joints compared to female-body style characters such as Principal, enabling the figure to hold larger weapons.
The head part is newly sculpted and designed by Kodama, with details carefully crafted down to individual hair strands following the design standards of the Sousai Shojo Teien series. The pre-painted face part, designated as Naked Face, includes movable eyes. An included tool allows adjustment of the eye line of sight to match various action poses. The face part uses a unique design and is not compatible with Mephisto or Ghillie Dhu models.
The Large Arm Blade features a rotatable base allowing the blade to be pointed forwards. The connection joints measure 3mm in diameter, making the blade compatible with other characters in the Megalomaria series and similar model kits using 3mm connection standards.
Included components: Zirconia model kit parts, Large Arm Blade, seven types of hand parts (sword-holding hands, gun-holding hands, clenched fists, and multiple open hands), hip armor with 3mm connection joint compatible with Flying Base, standard wrist joint and spacer (left and right), and single-piece rear armor.
