18K gold plating rests over tungsten carbide, whose significant weight gives the band a genuinely solid feel on the hand. The famous words in ancient Elvish runes are delicately engraved on both the inside and the outside of the band, just as on the original prop.

Features and Packaging

The ring arrives in a wooden gift box made from natural Walnut timber, engraved with the same famous runes. An ingenious and almost invisible elastic hinge lets the box stand open for display, and a strong rare-earth magnet closes it securely. The lid bears The Lord of the Rings logo on the outside and the Weta and Jens Hansen logos on the inside, with blue velvet lining the inside bottom. Like anything made from natural timber, variations in grain and colour will occur, and the hue may change as years pass - an entirely natural process.
